What we collect
- Your email and phone number — to bill you and send you updates.
- The other person's name and phone number — to deliver the message.
- Screenshots you upload — so the spokesperson speaks the way you actually do.
- What you write in the "why" field, and the personal details you give us — used only on this engagement.
- The conversation that unfolds — saved so you can read it later if you want to.
- Standard payment information through Stripe (we never see your card).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not train AI models on your conversations or screenshots.
- We do not share data with anyone except the operational vendors listed below.
Who processes your data with us
- Anthropic — runs the AI that reads your screenshots and writes messages. They process data per their commercial terms; they do not retain it for training.
- SendBlue — delivers iMessage and SMS on our behalf.
- Supabase — stores your account, the case, and screenshots (private bucket).
- Stripe — processes your payment.
How long we keep things
Conversations and screenshots are kept by default for 30 days after a case closes, so you have time to review. After that we delete them automatically unless you ask us to keep them, or you ask us to delete them sooner. Account records (email, billing) are kept while your account exists.
Deletion
Email hello@behalf.love from the address on file and we will delete your data within 7 days. If you'd like a copy first, ask in the same email.
The other person
If the recipient writes to us asking what we know about them, we will tell them: their phone number, that a Behalf engagement was created on their behalf, the contents of any messages they themselves sent, and how to request the conversation be deleted. We will not reveal who hired us without legal process.
Children
Behalf is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
